Online Store
Most garments in our online store are made to order, allowing each piece to be prepared according to your selected options and measurements.
The listed store price includes the standard options and customizations offered in the product form. When you add an item to your cart, you’ll be asked to complete a form with the measurements and customization information needed for that garment. An optional comments field is also available for additional requests.
Supplementary customization: If a request in the comments field requires work beyond the options included in the listed price, we’ll contact you to discuss the request and confirm any additional charges before proceeding. Once you confirm the additional price, we’ll send a separate invoice.
If you choose not to approve the extra charge, we can proceed with the original order without the supplementary customization.

Some alterations depend heavily on the garment’s construction and the fit you need. Please contact us for a personalized estimate for these services and any alteration not listed above.
Before bringing or mailing your garment, please contact us to discuss the work. All consultations and in-person garment drop-offs are by appointment only, so please schedule an appointment in advance. In some cases, we may need to examine the garment in person before we can determine an accurate price.
In-Person Consultations
When an in-person consultation is needed, the fee is $15 for 30 minutes. This fee will be deducted from the final price of your project.
Not every alteration requires a consultation. We’ll let you know if an appointment is necessary to assess your garment or discuss the work.
Mail-In Alterations
Mail-in alterations are available when an in-person fitting is not necessary. Customers are responsible for shipping their garments to us and paying for return shipping.
If an alteration or fitting issue results from incorrect information or measurements the customer provides, the customer is responsible for the cost of correcting the work and shipping in both directions. If an issue results from our mistake, it will be handled according to our Return and Service Policy.
Please contact us before mailing a garment to confirm that the requested alteration is suitable for a mail-in service.
Garment Cleanliness
All clothing brought or mailed to the studio for fittings or alterations must be freshly laundered or dry-cleaned. We will turn away unclean items to protect our machinery.
Custom Sewing, Mending & Repairs
We offer custom sewing for a wide variety of needs, from clothing and church items to household pieces, accessories, and other specialty projects. Whether you need something upcycled, your favorite skirt duplicated, a custom modest dress, Altar tablecloths, folding stasidi (στασίδι) cushions, a custom mandolin case, or something entirely different, we’re happy to discuss your project and see how we can help.
Custom sewing is billed at $30 per hour. Basic mending and repairs are also billed at $30 per hour, with a $15 minimum labor charge. We will add the cost of any materials needed for the project to the labor cost.
The total price depends on the work requested, the garment’s construction, the materials required, and the time involved. Please contact us to discuss your project and receive an estimate.
How Custom Orders Are Priced
Discuss your project. Tell us what you need, including the item, desired design, materials, and any special requirements.
Finalize the details. We’ll clarify the scope of work and any necessary measurements or fitting requirements.
Review your estimate. Once the details of your request have been finalized, we’ll send you an estimate for approval.
Receive your invoice. After you approve the estimate, we’ll send an invoice for payment.
Your order enters the queue. Once the invoice is paid, your order will be placed in the queue and completed in the order payment is received, unless an approved rush order applies.
Please contact us before bringing or mailing an item for alterations or custom sewing.

Payment & Additional Charges
Full payment is required before we begin work.
Online store orders: Pay the listed price at checkout.
Alterations and custom sewing: We’ll provide an estimate for approval, followed by an invoice. The invoice must be paid before work begins.
Supplementary customization: If a special request requires an additional fee, we’ll discuss the cost with you and confirm the price before invoicing you separately for the additional work.
Design changes: Changes requested before work begins will not incur an additional fee if they do not require extra work. Once sewing has started, changes that require additional work may incur an extra charge based on the work involved.
If additional pricing requires your approval, work on the affected request will remain on hold until you confirm and pay any applicable additional invoice. Orders that cannot proceed because of unconfirmed charges may be passed over when their turn comes up in the queue.
Turnaround Times & Rush Fees
Standard Turnaround
Our current estimated turnaround time is 10–12 weeks for online store garments, alterations, and custom sewing.
This is an estimate; actual completion times may vary depending on the nature of the work and the order queue. If you require a guaranteed completion within 10–12 weeks, a 10% rush fee applies, subject to our approval.
Our current guaranteed turnaround time with no rush fee is 12-14 weeks for online store garments, alterations, and custom sewing.
Turnaround time begins once the required invoice has been paid. Orders with no rush fee are completed in the order they are paid.
If you need your order completed by a specific date sooner than 12 weeks, you must request a rush order. Rush orders require approval; contact us.
Rush Order Fees
Rush fees apply to online store garments, alterations, and custom sewing. A rush fee is an additional charge on top of the regular garment or project price, not a percentage of the total price that replaces the regular cost. The fee is calculated as a percentage of the final garment or project price, including applicable custom charges, and is added to the amount owed.
The following percentages are additional rush fees for requested and approved guaranteed turnaround windows:
12-14 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): zero rush fee
10-12 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 10% rush fee
8-10 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 25% rush fee
6-8 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 40% rush fee
4-6 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 60% rush fee
2-4 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 75% rush fee
1-2 weeks guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 100% rush fee
1 week or less guaranteed, upon approval (excluding shipping time): additional 150% rush fee
We must approve your requested completion date before accepting a rush order.
If we’re unable to accommodate your requested date, we’ll let you know. You may choose a later completion date if you wish to proceed.
Shipping, Cancellations & Service Issues
For online store orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout where applicable. For mail-in alterations, customers are responsible for shipping the garment to us and paying for return shipping.
Because garments are made to order and custom work is prepared according to individual requirements, please review your order details, measurements, and requested customizations carefully before submitting your order.
For information about cancellations, refunds, and how we handle service issues, please review our full Return and Service Policy.
